Frequently Asked Questions

1. How do I enroll a foal?
A: Print off a foal enrollment form from the Forms tab on the website, complete it, & send it in along with your payment and a copy of the registration papers.

2. What if I don't have papers yet?
A: Not a problem! Send the sire and dam's names along with the foaling date. Make sure you forward a copy of the registration papers when you receive them.

3. How much is the enrollment?
A: That depends on the age of the foal and if any previous payments have been made. The payment schedule is listed under the Rules tab on the website. Scroll down to the payment schedule area. If in doubt contact the office by email at futurefortunesinc@gmail.com or by phone at (405) 366-2133.

4. I bought a horse and the previous owner's name is still listed on the website?
A: Forward a copy of the registration papers to the office by mail, email, or fax and we will update the information. Make sure that we have your current mailing address.

5. My papers don't have a sticker anymore after I got them back from AQHA?
A: Contact the FF office with your horse's name and we'll be happy to mail a new sticker to you. If you are a new owner follow the above directions in #4.

6. I paid my foal and can't see its name on the website?
A: If you can't find your horse's name on the website it means the office doesn't have a copy of your registration papers. Make sure you forward a copy to the office.

7. I want to get my stallion into the FF eligible Stallion program?
A: We have a waiting list of stallions that would like to be in the program. Email your name, the stallion's name, and the best phone number to reach you at to futurefortunesinc@gmail.com. We only take names through email.

8. I'm thinking of purchasing a horse and I've been told that it is Future Fortunes. How do I know for sure?
A: Always check with the FF office to see if a foal is paid into Future Fortunes before you buy. Call or email the office and we will look it up for you. We are still a young program and not everyone completely understands our program yet. We are trying to get the word out, but sometimes people still misunderstand how everything works.

9. I want to pay a weanling in. How much do I owe to pay it in full?
A: A weanling during the year it was foaled by December 1st of that year is $150 to pay in full. We consider a foal turning another year older on January 1st. For example, if it was foaled in May, you only have until December of the year it was foaled to pay it in at the weanling price of $150.

10. What do I do to enter a FF race?
A: Make sure that you mark the show producer's entry form that you are entering FF using your horse's registered name. No nicknames! Provide the producer with a copy of your registration papers showing you as the current owner. When a draw is posted be sure that an FF is by your name. If there isn't an FF by your name on the draw sheet go to the show office and make sure that they correct that and have you entered in the FF sidepot. This is a means of checks and balances for you to follow.

11. I am a breeder and haven't received my check yet?
A: The Stallion owner and the Breeder's checks are mailed the week after our last show of the year which is the BFA World Championship Futurity Show. Make sure that the office has your current mailing address if you should be receiving a check.

STALLIONS ON THE FF WAITING LIST ARE NOT ALLOWED TO ADVERTISE IN WRITING THAT THEY ARE ON THE WAITING LIST. THERE IS NO GUARANTEE THAT A STALLION ON THE WAITING LIST WILL COME INTO THE PROGRAM. IF YOU WANT A FUTURE FORTUNES FOAL, BREED TO A CURRENTLY ENROLLED FUTURE FORTUNES STALLION!
