I have had a Future Fortunes horse running for the past 2 years and both years my small monetary investment has paid great dividends. This was the first year I have been able to compete at the BFA World Championship, and I am so thankful for all of the opportunities Future Fortunes provided while I was there. The Amateur Program is a great incentive for people such as myself that do not train for a living. I was honored to win the Amateur Championship at Oklahoma City, taking home a check for $1000 and a beautiful Future Fortunes Jacket. In addition, my colt, Shawnes French Bug, also held a slot in the Fortunes Round. It was such a good surprise to learn that we had placed 4th in the Fortunes Round, earning $2500! All in all, with the Amateur Championship, the Fortunes Round and the average money, we earned over $3700 in Future Fortunes money alone, not to mention several other nice prizes.

Future Fortunes is a great program because not only does it foster the breeding of better barrel horses, it also encourages people such as myself (who do not normally ride futurity horses) to come and run. The program truly rewards everyone involved in the long process of breeding and running of a prospect. I am so happy to know that not only did my colt win for me, he also won for Bill and Deb Myers (owners of his sire, Frenchmans Guy) as well as his breeder (their son, Chad Myers).

This program was such a blessing to me this year! I will continue to support it by breeding to Future Fortunes stallions and hopefully I can write you another thank you not in the upcoming years!

2007 Rookie Champion

I was really looking forward to competing at the BFA World Championship Futurity. I knew I would be running with the best of the best! My goal was to make the top 50. Then Susan Rudy, the owner of the horse I was riding, told me about the Rookie award offered by Future Fortunes. I had no idea what Future Fortunes was. I’m really glad that my horses were Future Fortunes nominated cause of all the extra dollars I won. That is extra pocket money with no extra fees. Wow! When I think about it, I will look for Future Fortunes horses in the future, cause besides extra money at Futurities, I’m looking forward to the Future Fortunes Bonus Money at Open 4D’s, like the Summer Shootout!

I want to thank Dan & Sue Rudy for the opportunity to ride a nice Future Fortunes colt, my husband Joey and my family for all their support and a big thank you to Future Fortunes for putting in such hard work into a program that is taking off like a rocket!
