BFA World Championship at Lazy E Arena in 2019
The largest, most prestigious futurity barrel racing event is moving to the nation’s largest indoor arena. BFA World Championship will be at Lazy E Arena, Guthrie, Oklahoma in 2019, 2020, and 2021.
Barrel Futurities of America and Lazy E Arena are excited to announce the new location for BFA World Championship as well as new dates and the new futurity eligibility rule.
BFA World Championship will be held November 15-24, 2019. To facilitate the move to Lazy E Arena in November, the futurity horse eligibility date will be November 15. This rule will take effect in November 2019. Foals born in 2016 shall not compete in a barrel racing event prior to Nov. 15, 2019.
Expanded move-in time, increased added money, facility readiness, no conflict with Wrangler National Finals Rodeo (contestants and sponsors) are among the considerations for this BFA Board decision. Lazy E Arena is a production partner with BFA and will be working with BFA Board of Directors to prepare for 2019 BFA World Championship.
BFA World Championship will continue the $uper$takes, futurity, derby, juvenile futurity, amateur futurity final, youth futurity final, amateur derby final, open 4D, and junior barrel race. Future Fortunes Stallion Incentive program will feature its bonus programs for owners, breeders, and stallion owners.
Lazy E Arena hosts rodeos, horse shows, and versatility events as well as National Little Britches Rodeo Association Finals on its scenic 180 acres. The experienced and hospitable production staff works to create a unique performance equine event experience.
