MAMA’S MONEY SIDE POT

Mama’s Money is a side pot that is offered in conjunction with selected Future Fortunes’ events. Eligibility is based on the Dam’s Sire, who must be a current or previously enrolled Future Fortunes Stallion.

A horse must be enrolled in Mama’s Money before it can enter an event. A horse does not have to be enrolled in Future Fortunes to be eligible for Mama’s Money.

HOW IT WORKS:

  • Adding $160,000 in 2026! 16 events throughout the United States. Each Mama’s Money Side Pot will have $10,000 added, with a $100 entry fee.
    90% of each entry fee will be added to the purse.
  • Instead of separate payouts for each day, Future Fortunes will combine all eligible entries over the three days. Once the last horse runs on the final day, payouts will be calculated. At Fort Smith, times will be combined from the 4 & and 5-year-old Futurities and the Derby. BFA World Championship – Juvenile, 4 & 5 year old Futurities combined times from both long goes.
  • Participants may enter one, two, or all three days. If a horse runs all three days, it could win up to three separate checks.
  • Payouts will follow a 3D format for 1–50 entries and a 4D format for 51 or more entries—Minimum of 5 places paid per division.
  • Payout distribution: 70% to owner, 20% to nominator, and 10% to the Dam’s Sire owner (last recorded owner with Future Fortunes).

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR MAMAS MONEY:

  1. Horse must be enrolled in Mama’s Money for a one-time inaugaral enrollment fee of
    $500 per horse, regardless of age, by December 31, 2026. Starting January 1, 2027 the fee will be $600 for any age horse.
  2. The sire of the dam must be currently or previously enrolled as a Future Fortunes stallion. The sire of the enrolled horse can be any stallion.
  3. Enrolled horse must enter the event online with FF by Noon CST the day of your run, but BEFORE your horse competes. ALL entries are TIME STAMPED.

HOW TO FIND A STALLION

Go to www.futurefortunesinc.com, scroll down to Foal Search and choose Select Stallion. If the dam’s sire is in that drop down list, then your horse is eligible for the Mama’s Money sidepot.
