“Luey” had his first foal crop in 2024 and they were a stand out group of babies! Well minded, colorful and good size. They were incredibly docile and easy to work with as well. We continue to get positive and loved feedback from owners. This guy is one to breed to if you are looking for an all-around, all in one package, kind of horse! If you get lucky to buy one of his offspring you wont be disappointed.
We really love his breeding, the greats speak for themselves and he is well package. He has completed 90 days with professional trainers. The trainer had nothing but good to say about him, he is very quiet, smart, easy to train and willing. He has the smoothest trot and lope. He takes time to assess a situation and move forward. He has a lot of power that we hope to harness and train for competition. We have been able to show him in 2024 in a Ranch Horse Versatility show and the NILE Futurity Gold Buckle Show. Unfortunately for Luey, our family is growing and showing has taken a back seat.
Luey is a buttermilk buckskin dun or better known as a Dunskin, which means he carries a cream gene and dun gene. His “dun factor” is quite significant with barring on the legs, defined back stripe dripping off his neck and spots along his top line. Color tested Ee Aa Dnd2 nCr.

Breeding Info
We have had a lot of success standing him to outside mares and the owners have been thrilled with the offspring. We are considering training him for collection to be able to offer semen, so reach out if that is of interest to you. He will be available from mid April to late July for live cover.
Stud fee + Mare care: Mare care will be $10 a day or $12 a day w/foal at side.
Due to recent equine outbreaks we will require that all mares have the following:
- Current negative coggins
- UTD on vaccinations with west nile
- Wormed in the last 30 days
- NO shoes
